Mental Health, Learning Disability & Drugs Issues Advocacy:

Our team of advocates come from a wide variety of skill bases and backgrounds, which we utilise to provide the best services and results for our clients.

We work from offices within various hospital and community locations to provide Adult Mental Health, Older Persons Mental Health, and Learning Disability services. We also provide advocacy for individuals with Drugs Issues

In-Patients

We aim to see all clients within two working days and at the ACU where we have our largest client base, at least one advocate is on site every working day. A different advocate will provide emergency cover where the designated advocate for the ward is not available.

Community

In the community, Matrix Advocacy Service provides advocates designated to certain geographical areas and client groups. We aim to see our clients at the earliest opportunity. Due to the nature of the service, we usually make contact within 3 working days. If you require the assistance of a community advocate, you can arrange a mutually convenient place and time to meet in the community so that they can ascertain your needs and work with you further.
