Matrix
provides advocacy for patients in both the Young Persons and Adult Low
Secure Wings of the Alpha Hospital in Woking.
Alpha
Hospitals Low Secure Services provide treatment and
rehabilitation for male patients aged between 18-64 years with severe
and enduring mental illness and complex needs. Patients admitted to this
Low Secure Unit are detained under the Mental Health Act.
Alpha
Hospitals Young Person’s Services provide assessment and / or
treatment for young people aged 12-18 years with mental illness.
Examples of support given include;

on being on a MHA ‘Section’
- Support
at ward rounds & CPA meetings
- Complaints
about care
- Information
about medication
- Help
with access to records
- Support
with benefits
- Information
and support with housing issues
